About Us
Hello! I'm Shari McCormick.
I was an Event Planner and Wedding Coordinator and my favorite part of every wedding was the ceremony. I began I Choose You Ceremonies in 2015 and have been fortunate to grow my business every year.
I am married to my husband, Jeff and we have three grown children and have also added two wonderful son-in-laws to our family.
I love to cook big family dinners and I am a baking fool! I love to go to auctions and flea markets and antiques are my thing. I have a Great Dane, Boudreaux, and he is my baby! My husband and I have a Harley and we love to go on rides. I am considering learning to ride so I can get my own bike.
I am a country girl at heart and I recently purchased a 1900 farmhouse on a little acreage. I'm looking forward to adding to my farm with a few chickens, some goats, another dog and maybe a pig...and a huge garden!

Your Wedding Day
Before Your Wedding
We meet couples 1-2 times before wedding day. We get information from you to really make your ceremony special to YOU. We'll provide you with a variety of scriptures, readings, vows, ring exchange verbiage to look through and see if there is anything you would like to incorporate into their ceremony. We'll set up the ceremony, have you review it and make sure it's perfect for the big day.
Rehearsal
We need to practice! We are there to conduct your wedding rehearsal. We will do a few walk-throughs with you the couple, your family and wedding party (when to walk, where to stand, etc) so that everyone feels comfortable with what to expect for the wedding ceremony. Rehearsals seem like something that can be skipped, but trust us...it's something that is needed.
The Ceremony
It's your big day and ours too! We're busy on wedding day making sure everything goes as we planned. We arrive early and talk with the venue, DJ, photographer, parents and of course, you to ensure everything is set. We'll make sure you have the marriage license and have that ready to be signed after the ceremony.
